Admirals Come Up Just Short Against Dobyns-Bennett
Friday night the Admirals came up one yard short of continuing a last minute drive that would’ve won the game, had the Admirals been able to score a Touchdown. Farragut led for most of the game, and was ahead by 11 points with 9 minutes left in the ball game. Dobyns-Bennett started the game with a long drive, but Farragut’s defense was able to stop the drive and hold the Indian to a 45 yard FG by Landon Salyers. Scoreboard Face Lift is Complete!
After many weeks of designing, welding, painting, printing and installation, our Scoreboard is up and looks great. Thanks to the Booster Club for providing the funding for the welding/steel and new signs. While the Booster Club has a long range plan of replacing the scoreboard it was necessary to repair the existing structure and give it a face lift. Special thanks to Dave Kirkendall and Michelle Mitchell for their assistance in getting this completed for our season kickoff.
