Hawks downed Farragut, 41-17. Ryan Ferguson rushed for two touchdowns and roughly 180 yards for the Hawks.Farragut turned the ball over five times.Issac Aguero intercepted a Jacob Naumoff pass with 9 minutes, 54 seconds left in the third and returned it to the Farragut 7-yard line.Two plays later, Issiah scored on a 4-yard run for a 21-10 lead. He added an interception at the 4:51 mark in the third and then converted that turnover into points with a 6-yard touchdown run with 46 seconds left in the third.

HVA defensive back Dominique Amos nabbed his second interception of the night with 24.8 seconds left in the third. Ferguson scored from 67 yards out on the ensuing play, making the score 34-10.He rushed for 107 yards on seven carries in the third and had 174 yards on 21 carries entering the fourth quarter. Issiah Aguero, after missing the last two weeks with a high ankle sprain on his left ankle, punctuated his night with an 8-yard touchdown run with 6:44 to play.Farragut fell behind 14-0 after one quarter, but Carter Phillipy made a 50-yard field goal 15 seconds into the second quarter.

Naumoff got his arm warm for a bit, and Tanner Thomas added a 1-yard TD run with 7:41 left to make the score 14-10 at halftime.Heavy rains silenced both offenses the last 6 minutes of the half.

Admirals Lose Hard Fought Game Against Knox-West

The Knox-West Rebels rolled up 457 rushing yards and beat host Farragut 49-30 in a District 4-AAA game.

West was led in rushing by senior quarterback Seth Marshall, who had 164 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries. While, senior tailback Nathan Cottrell rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries for the Rebels.

Admirals Tame The Panthers

Farragut forced five turnovers, including four interceptions, and the Admiral pulled away for a 49-17 win over visiting Lenoir City on Friday at Bill Clabo Field.

Senior cornerback Noah Webb picked off two passes, including one in the end zone late in the 2nd quarter that would have given the Panthers the lead.

Farragut scored on its first offensive play, when Jacob Naumoff hit Derek Williams for a 19-yard touchdown pass. But Lenoir City answered with a touchdown and a field goal in its next three possessions, while the Admirals fumbled on their next two.

The Panthers led 10-7 after the first quarter, but Farragut’s offense got on track after that. Jeremiah Partin scored touchdowns from 2 and 9 yards out in the second quarter, and Tanner Thomas scored on rushes of 19 and 2 yards in the 2nd
